Christmas 2009
MY Big present 80 pieces of new silverware!
Jordan unwrapping with the help of the kids.
Austyn and Sydnie helping me unwrap.
Austyn's ballroom dancing dress, made
by her Grammy Larson. It is beautiful,
she put on at 7am and wore it all day!
Wyatt opening his gift from Grammy Larson,
he loved the wallet and has packed the bag
around all day, loaded to the top.
Austyn's new dress.....
Sydnie's new dress, just like Austyn's.
So this is the first year we have stayed
home all day, and had food already
prepared. The kids have had a great
time putting anything they want on
their plates. I have to say, I think
they ate pretty well, and didn't have
too many treats.
Here they are in their Christmas
Eve pj's. Ready for Santa to come.

Happy Birthday Sydnie!
So, yes this is a little late, but at least I did get it posted before a whole month has gone by. Her actual birthday was on September 29.
She had been wanting a bike for a really long time, and she loves it!
Happy Third Birthday! Make a wish and blow out the candles!
She had a great day and she is s big girl now, at least she thinks so.
She is our cutie!

Summer Happenings
So this is what most of May, June, and July looked like. Rain, Rain, Rain and More Rain, with very few if any sunny days.
But this was today! The weather was Perfect, SUNNY 75 degrees, with a slight breeze. We went for a hike in Paradise Park. We had nine kids and one puppy in all, and amazingly they all did really well on the trails. Two were in back packs and one on a leash. It really was a fun day and nice to be outside. Thank Goodness for SUNSHINE days!

Birthday gifts for under $5.00
The little make-up bag was made with material I already had. It is just a simple rectangle with a zipper and some embellishments. We added some shiny lip gloss and a few clips to complete the present.
The next two gifts are a notebook covered with scrap book paper and then a matching pencil case with colored pencils. The rectangle pencil case I found for 50 cents and added some paper trim. And the round case is a Crystal light container, that I added paper to as well.

Beautiful Day!
So we actually got up to 40 degrees today, the snow was melting, the sky was blue and the sun was out. Austyn and I just couldn't resist it, we had to get out and slash in some puddles. So we walked Buddy, our 6 month old Golden Retriever to Grandma's house, and Jd and the other kids drove the truck. It is probably a 1/2 mile or so to her house. It was so nice to out and not freezing. We had a great walk and had some cake when we got there, yum. Jd walked Buddy home. I can almost see the light at the end of the winter tunnel in New England. I am trying not to get my hopes up though because it is only February and we still have at least March to get through, before it is really nice out.

SNOW DAY!
There is no school today, because we are expected to get up to 18 inches of snow today. So all the kids are home, but Jordan's parents moved here and they are taking a day with each of the family's to have their kids, and today is our day. So I will finally be able to finish my book, and do some projects, yay! Thank goodness for Grandparents! And the snow is great too, especially since it has to be at least 30 degrees to snow, which means we are out of the single didgets.

The Begining!
So we have been going to start a Blog for a while, but just too lazy I guess. But the Husband and baby are sleeping, and the older kids are entertaining themselves upstairs, so I thought what a better time than the present. It is a cold day in Vermont, so we are staying inside. But the Sun is high in the sky, YAY!
